Rosie Blackadder is a playwright and screenwriter originally from Northamptonshire.

After training at the University of Birmingham, her comedic and often female-led work has been long-listed for national Sitcom Awards. performed live and described as “Over-the-top, sharp, timely and non-stop funny” (Tulpa).

Her debut satirical play Higher Ups received Arts Council Funding and was heralded as ★★★★ “delightfully bonkers” by London Theatre 1.

In 2024, was selected to be part of the BFI Stories to Shorts cohort in 2024 and was given 1-2-1 training and script editing from BAFTA and BIFA nominated Laura Jayne Tunbridge.

 In 2025, she was awarded a place on the prestigious Curtis Brown Writing for TV: Drama course.
